Summary:

We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join our company as a Job Site Leader. As part of our team, you will specialize in the seamless installation, movement and repositioning of complex production and automation equipment for use in a production and manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with departmental and corporate leadership to determine existing automation capabilities and future opportunities, creating detailed project road maps for automation projects that support our business objectives. You also need superb problem-solving and communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leading and directing the employees and subcontractors/suppliers on site while building positive employee relations
• Manage on site day-to-day operation of assigned project(s)
• Maintaining accurate time records for the crew on site
• Plan, Manage and understand the budgeted hours and progress of each project
• Implement automated systems for use in diverse manufacturing and production environments
• Conducting daily safety meetings. Ensure crew members are following on-site procedures (i.e wearing proper PPE, site training if needed etc.) and follow through with disciplinary actions as needed
• Lead on-site discussions between project leadership and customer/key stakeholders to determine automation capabilities and goals
• Create detailed road maps to guide automation projects from conception to final implementation
• Support existing automation technology with component and process upgrades
• Ensuring customer satisfaction on site
• Preparation of site work (planning, material containers, premises, rental vehicles, are there necessary infrastructure)
• Managing the expectations of the customer, project executors and suppliers in the context of site work, while providing good customer service
• Following up on the site plan and project plan on site
• Monitoring the quality requirements and the quality policy on site
• Ensuring adequate solutions to bottlenecks in the realization of the project on site
• Initiating and implementing preventive and corrective measures within the project.
• Help communicate company policy to employees on site
• Coach and mentor crew members

Requirements and Qualifications:

• At least 5-10 years’ experience in Automation industry
• Must be well versed in all aspects of installation (Electrical, Mechanical, and Pipe)
• Computer knowledge- Working with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to travel
• Knowledge of Spanish, is a plus
• Strong ability with software testing and validation
• Superb communication and organizational skills
