Summary:
A production operator’s job is to ensure the smooth running of production processes by setting up, monitoring, and maintaining machines and equipment on an assembly line. They may work in fast-paced environments and need to be alert and focused for extended periods. As an Assembly Operator, you will be part of the assembly line responsible for producing products against our designs and to our quality standards.
Your duties will include:
- Production, inspection, packing, loading, and unloading of materials and products.
- Following our problem-solving Procedures, you will abide by safety regulations and troubleshoot production issues as they arise.
- Assembling products following instructions and designs.
- Loading materials and unloading finished products.
- Halting production when quality defects or equipment malfunctions are identified.
- Carefully following procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintaining an accurate log of production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs.
- Using tools and equipment with proper care.
- Good English and math skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work at a fast pace.
- Physical fitness and stamina for working an entire shift on your feet.
- Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of safety and manufacturing regulations and procedures (preferred).
- Experience with MIG welding is a must
