Summary:

A field service technician installs, maintains, and repairs equipment and systems at customer locations. They work in many industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, utilities, and telecommunications. 

Essential Duties:

  • Troubleshooting: Analyze and evaluate technology issues, diagnose problems, and walk customers through problem-solving steps
  • Equipment setup and repair: Set up or repair equipment
  • Documentation: Write daily reports to management on job progress
  • Communication: Communicate work and findings to customers and their team
  • Decision making: Determine if older equipment is running sufficiently and when new equipment is needed
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery processes 
  • General skilled trade experience, project management helper so needs minimal experience in build, pipe, and wire
  • Open to travel is a plus for long term but not required right away

Job Location: Auburn Hills- with possibility of domestic and international travel
