Summary:
An onboarding specialist is responsible for overseeing that new employees integrate themselves into an organization. They will assist with gathering new hire documents and provide support to ensure a smooth transition for the new joiners.
Responsibilities:
- Book all travel arrangements for all employees
- Manage phone calls, voicemail messages and correspondence (i.e., emails)
- Post all jobs, as well as maintain list of current jobs for internal team distribution
- Stay current with all paperwork to be filed – to include obtaining any missing information,
create new hire personnel files, etc. - Maintain and update electronic recruiting database daily
- Complete backgrounds and schedule drug testing as applicable per customer request
- Create project worksheets for all projects with all applicable information (i.e., manpower, hotel,
flights, per diem, etc.) - Attend all team/department meetings
- Submit timely reports to supervisor
- Support entire team whenever necessary
- Other duties as needed at discretion of management
Requirements and skills:
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior organizational skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Must be available for evening/weekend work, as needed
- Proficient speaking, writing, reading English/Spanish bilingual, preferred
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and social media
